The Rebild National Park Society Upper Midwest Chapter is excited to be hosting the 2010 Rebild National Park Society Annual Membership Meeting in April, 2010. We look forward to welcoming fellow Rebild members and guests to the lovely and vibrant cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. This event provides an excellent forum for uniting with past friends and meeting new ones, as well as promoting the common friendship bond between the United States and Denmark.
The Upper Midwest Chapter has prepared what we hope is an exciting and enjoyable list of tours and activities for your stay in Minnesota. We look forward to sharing our wonderful area and re-connecting with Rebild friends and forging new friendships.
Minneapolis is a vibrant and dynamic city in Minnesota and is often referred to as the “Mini-Apple”. It is well known for its cutting-edge art, theater and history. Minnesota has an active Danish community and Danish traditions are very strong in the area. The Upper Midwest Chapter last hosted the Rebild Annual Membership Meeting in 1995 and this was the start of the annual Queen’s Ball Gala, held in honor of the birthday of HRH Queen Margrethe of Denmark.
